And in cases where the results of both techniques are discordant, fMRI seems to be a more accurate predictor of postoperative language outcome.10 It must be noted, though, that only a few studies have actually compared the results of both techniques with patient outcomes.. In this article we report four cases with atypical rightdominant activations on language fMRI: one patient was operated on in the right hemisphere, and the other three in the left hemisphere. |
